http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=71878 these w*nkers are always putting down us with little digs now and again absolutely obsessed with us and now with another ridiculous article
its a poor article anyway. He doesn't back up any of his claims... another case of "journalism" at its best. The sad thing is people actually read all of that every sunday in nearly every paper and magazine. Its a bit off topic but football journalism is a joke with very few getting it right. Eamon dunphy been the pinnacle of the movement. It annoys that anyone who is somewhat believed to be educated in stringing a few words together seems to be struck with a case of "knowitism" while the lower levels scramble and join in claiming it to be breaking news from a reliable source.
They are bitter cos we can rival them now in the transfer market. We could always do it on the pitch.
Wel there is a shower of them around like a few people i know, personally i only have few people that are Utd fans, the rest are Arsenal. Me Dad is a Chelski fan but meself and me brothers are the Mighty Reds of course In regards to that nite you should read some of the comments they are obsessed with Liverpool unbeliveably check and see there articles they wrote a lot on Liverpool
There's so many inaccuracies its not even worth going into. The bit that stood out (from memory, not reading it again) the most was when saying he was the twice the price of Henry because he conveniently slipped between euro and pounds prices to make it fit ignoring amount a 10m euro discrepency not to even mention the Garcia factor (a bit like people quoting the league goals of one player but the total season goals of another they're comparing the first to). As for mancs and I've some of the sheer abuse of stats going on today (subtracting penos from a striker's total for God's sake - go take penos and free kicks away from Fat Frank and see what you come up with or even some of Henry's and Van Nistelroy's league totals). They've been unusually begrudingly saying its actually a decent buy dispite the guff to the contrary. They know that in comparison to what they paid for those two kids, Hargreaves and Carrick that thats what a striker will cost in today's market, they're used to these heady levels of purchases afterall. The salient point for me is this that on the whole people accept was very valid. Bent is valued at 16m and Torres 10m more. Bent is aiming to break into the England first team squad (the squad now) whilst Torres at age 23 has 40 caps (I think 17 more than Villa who's 28) and 14 goals for his country. There's your 10m gap right there without even going into potential, general play and assists.
lads who gives a fck what the others think.....ignore them they look up at us with green eyes and always will anyway was Torres not bought for 20million pounds not 26 ?
