Id love us to sign this lad, a proper winger who can put in a belter of a cross with either foot, the service he could give the big un as kenny calls him would get us shed loads of goals

Would be a good addition for us, like the way he plays. Had another good game yesterday.

only 24 too, i think he'd be well worth a punt if wolves weren't looking for stupid money.

I thought he looked great as well yesterday, We need to be snapping up these players like Shitty did with Johnson.

Thought he was great yesterday, can put in a quality cross which we are lacking.

Matt Jarvis is good. He's not great though and if we are to reclaim our place as a top 4 team we need to be signing better players than jarvis IMO.We should be focussing on getting rid of our mediocre players not bringing more in.

I would call him class, he's decent. I could whip in a ball as good if not better than him everytime, he has a few skills and tricks and some pace, he'd be a decent squad player to have, but by no means class.

Sticking a cross into the box is one of the easier things to do in football.
Its getting past the full back is the problem ;)
    Which Jarvis does quite well.

I'd much perfer Ashley Young. Would cost about the same or probably less in the summer, much better value for money imo.

Have i read your sentence wrong?

Jarvis would probably be at least half of Ashley Young's price. Unless of course Young only has 12 months left in his contract this summer or something?

    He does ;)

Still think Villa will get around £12m.Due to the interest from a lot of top clubs ,If you have say Spurs UTD Liverpool B.Munich etc interested to name just 4 , wouldn't be surprised if they get more than £12m-15m

As Rocco said he is entering the final year of his contract, if he really wants to join a particular club (hopefully us) then Villa don't have much choice. Less than £10m imo and Jarvis would probably cost more than that based on age, nationallity and been flavour of the month.

He's a decent player, but suggesting he will add much to a team seeking to get back and challenge is a stretch.

Need to stop being so mediocre in our thinking.

seen a fair bit of this lad this season and to be honest im quite impressed with him
While he is not world class he would definatly add more quality to our squad with his crossing ability and with carroll in the side the more good service he get s the better off our goal tally will be

this lad has ben playing well in the premier league for two years now and can handle the phyiscal side of the game which not every player with an o or a i on the end of their surname can (sorry nani)
