3G Broadband use with PS3

Was just wondering is there any people on here using a 3G connection to play on the fifa11 forum league,and if there is,how good is the connection and is it difficult to set up with your laptop?

 

Do you mean a mobile broadband as in a O2/vodafone or meteor dongle??

 

Ya sorry its a vodafone connection,just wondering how well it works with the ps3?

 

Im Using the O2 version of it.10 gig a month for 20 yoyo's.Works a treat for me.No problem playing online what so ever.Also you dont use too much Usuage either.If i was playing online for about a hour the most i would use would be about 20 gig.

Just use a Ethernet cable and you'll be sorted No Problem..

Is pretty straight forward and easy to do Mate.Alls you need is a Ethernet cable which you get with your Ps3.You connect that to your laptop, and then into your Ps3, and then you just sort your Settings out on your laptop, and your connected.

how would you do this on the wii with mobile broadband?

 

Not been smart or giving you a smart answer mate, but i dont know the workings off a wii, so i cant answer that one for you.

 

Ron, my mate has a vodafone sharing dock. He can't connect most times to get a game on FIFA. He has nat type2. Could you give me a step by step guide for how you got connected, please.
