Saw a thread for this on RAWK and I thought it would be a good discussion.

What are your favourite films, that may not have been blockbusters or done well in cinemas but still are quite popular within smaller groups of people.

    I'll get it going so.....

Give it another go or two Gary. I think it gets better every time you watch it. It's by no means my favourite film, but it is a cult classic.

Also a shout out for Napolean Dynamite. Vote for Pedro!

Most of my favourites would probably fall in this category...
Midnight Cowboy, The Wild Bunch, Dog Day Afternoon, Withnail + I... loads more.
One of my all time favourites is Rumble Fish... Coppola, Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, Chris Penn, Dennis Hopper,Nic Cage, Larry Fishbourne and a very sexy Diane Lane

Fear and Loathing and Zoolander are cult films, Dodgeball isn't.

Spinal Tap. First time I saw it I didnt really get it at all (bar a few highlights) but can rewatch over and over now.

Guests other documentary films are hit and miss throughout. I do love Fred Willard (in anything really) but especially as the commentator in Best in Show; "It's the bottom of the ninth...."
