Hi guys. Iwas hoping to get some advice on games for the PS3 and feed back on some games I got. So far (having had the console since its release I have to say Ive not been very impressed and regret trading in the xbox 360 for it. I wonder what others feel.
1. Virtua Tennis. I enjoyed it in short spells. Amazing graphics. I think it would be worth getting second hand, rather than new though. (6.5/10)
2. FIFA 2008. Ok, graphically superb, but still suffers from previous failings, games can be arcadey, midfield stalemate and sometimes controls are a wee bit random. Still a huge improvement on previous showings. (7.5/10)
3. Proevo 2008. What the hell has happened to the best football game. Its very poor, jerky, crap replays, a rubbish blue default ball. I was very dissapointed with it. Konami have failed big time to meet the next gen market, they better get the finger out for next year. Something tells me they gave up on this game too soon. (7/10)
4. Virtua Fighter. Good fun, but I traded it in cos I was rubbish at it. Graphically amazing, but I thought it was a "punch every button game". (6.5/10)
5. God father. Awful. Love the movies (all time favourites) but the game is an insult. (3/10).
6. Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I must be honest, I still have not given this much of a chance, but I will. What do other people think and have you any tips?
7. EA fight night. Good fun, but a bit of a random button pushing expedition. Good if you have a few beers with mates though (7/10)
8. Madden NFL 2008. Only just got this, but as someone who hasnt much of a clue about american football, I gotta say I loved this. Great fun. Ill see if it stands the test of time though. (7.5/10)
9. Call of duty 4. Just got this, so have not had much time on it. Looks very next gen though. Anyone else had a go on this.
Id be very interested in hearing what people though of Assasins creed, Motorstorm, Smackdown vs Raw and any other games. Maybe we can stop each other buying dissapointing games.
