Be interesting to see can Tyrone and Kerry get back amongst it this year. Going to be a tough year for Micky Harte.

Think Cork will be the team to beat.

A cracking finish to the O'Byrne cup final yesterday betwwen Kildare and Louth
in Newbridge. The Lilywhites sealed a narrow 1 pont victory thanks to two goals in injury time which left the final score Kildare 3-09 Louth 2-09

there is a boozer in the grounds itself - the pearse ogs club.

literally within a 2mins walk of the ground you have about 5 pubs - keegans (damper murphys - recently done up and very nice inside) the toby jug and red neds being the 3 closest - these 3 pubs are right next 2 st malachys church.

the best pub in the town is McKennas bar. I play soccer out of it - its about 10-15 walk from the grounds and is in the shambles area of the town - any local could tell you where it is - very easily found. on this street you will also find devlins, the whitehouse (recently closed tho) and the shambles bar.

even the armagh city hotel is a 2-3 min walk from the ground - (biggest hotel in the "city")

if you need any more info let me know. i live 5min walk from the pitch myself and am looking forward to the match. its the official opening think the GAA president is opening it.

If there was ever a sport where individual talent was irrelavant compared to community togetherness it's GAA, I think Tyrone will win the All Ireland this year. And it'll be the first time I actually won't mind them winning it.

mickey harte and tyrone will be back with a bang. And i don't say that with my heart speaking, after the tragic death of his daughter.

Tyrone are usually good every couple of years, they'll be hard bet.

Indecision over the team as Clayton said experimental. Midfield to be sorted who plays off MDMA. Myself I would go for Bastick. Looking forward to this if the Meath game is anything to go by and its away

As I was saying McKennas is the best bar in the town yea. If you walk back over the hill where the old firestation is it would be less than a 10min walk back to the pitch.

If u fancy a 2min walk Keegans bar is very close to the pitch and is nice inside -does be a young crowd at night but not sure what its like during the day.
Id imagine you would have to change euro yes. cross is right by the border so they prob take both. McAnerneys supermarket is right at the pitch and they have a bank of ireland cash machine outside and they will usually change euro for you also.
I am reliably formed also that Croke Park is sending two ticket vans to be placed outside the grounds to sell tickets.
