    Newcastle rejected a bid for Andy Carrol in the region of 25m gbp

    I thought 15m would be enough to get him

    If he has a price tag of say £30 million then Darren Bent is a steal at 24 million.I agree with that. I thought 15 million would be enough for Andy Carroll.

    Funny the way spurs can go off and buy Carroll for 25m and noting be said about it, but the publicity of lfc buying Suarez for 23m and the pressure that he will be put under to preform, think harry is going to do a portsmouth job on spurs and then feck off to take the england job in 18 months.

    If Sissy boy goes Carroll could be a good buy in my opinion. The price we'd get him for would leave us with plenty of change for other players and he's english....

    Spurs are obviously miles richer than us, never even seen that coming. fcuk me €45m.. who else are they after.
    We won't catch up with City and Spurs for another 3 years if FSG don't start spending.
    Football is gone mad.
