Anyone know whats the deal with this new Channel and UPC? Looks like there will be some great programmes on it, but am not sure whether UPC will be transmitting it.
Just onto my mate there. I used to work for upc he manages the call centre. He said as it stands there is no sign of them getting it. What usually happens is it runs on sky for a while before they let others have it to convert people over but take it as its not coming and no date set.
Jaza beat me to it, just off the phone with them Lad told me that they have been told to log all interest in the channel as negotiations are going on at th eminute, but as Jaza said SKY want the monoploy on it and want people to switch over. Also asked him why I wasnt getting sky sports in HD, he said sky wont give it to them. Last time they had the monopoly was when they were the only ones with the recordable boxes and nearly every second advert was about them, then upc got them and you dont see the advert anymore Same thing happening now with atlantic and sky hd If UPC did get it, he thinks it will be in one of the entertainment packages? Wouldnt mind I love american tv shows, pay for the entertainment package just to watch the hallmark channel
Re run of my favourite programme ever The Sopranos on it so great to be able to sky+ it from start to finish.
Nice one. I downloaded all the seasons recently but the quality wasn't the best so I'll watch it on this..in HD!! Half way through the first season and loving it.
Boardwalk Empire is coming to it... meant to be the dogs Genitalia, cant wait to see this show ,, Red 2005 what do you mean its part of a variety pack????
It means come the end of august you will have to buy a seperate package to watch it, like you buy sky sports Entertainment package on UPC would be similar
Huh, you saying those of us who have not moved to the MORE EXPENSIVE HD service on Sky, won't be able to get this channel - if so, I'm going to lose the rag, those cnuts in Sky are already getting a fortune out of us (granted the service is better than UPC, but FFS the cost is expensive for bloomin' TV !)
