    you might have to reduce your firewall settings on your router. I had to do this when connecting the xbox to wi-fi

    if its a motorla router type this in on your laptop. http://192.168.1.254 .

    the username is admin and password is password.

    Click on firewall on left panel and select low.

    This will lessin the security on you computer but if you've anti virus you shoud be grand.

    Go to Internet setting, and inthere you'll find scan. Scan fir wireless routers and it should pick up your one, click your one and then it will ask you for your wep key, that code is under ur modem, type in wep key and you should be ready to go

    ssid: = network name e,g, upc1234456 or Eircom54312654
    wep = Password (Low security)
    wpa = Password ( best security)
    pppoe = its a ethernet encapsulation protocol, your ps3 should get all that automatically

    if your stuck i can take control of your pc to login to your router

    and tell you your password and ssid to enter into the ps3

    Pete
