Are we not in the lower half of the table? I think he's a good player, I wouldn't mind seeing him at the club!
I no we have problems everywhere, I was just saying if he was signed it wouldn't be a bad signign IMO. A striker should be the first priority. If we don't sign one this transfer window we are up sh*t creak with a canoe!
get your thinking cap on, We ARE in the bottom half but we SHOULDNT be there. and Adam isnt good enough to be there
he was class again tonight. looking at some of the signings we have made in the past few seasons I find it a bit unfair people turning there noses up at Adam. One of the players of the season. i take him in a hearbeat in the morning
Good player for Blackpool and having a very good season, however not good enough for us if we want to get back to being a Top 4 team minimum.
He was not good enough to get a game for the huns two years ago. Charlie Adams sisters pants?? It is a sad day when we are linked with players like this. Did our new owners come in to shop in TK Maxx for their transfer targets? I wouldn't have him in a million years. We don't need squad players. We have enough rubbish warming our bench which is what he would mostly do. Can we not have higher aspirations than this?
he's not good enough. we'll sign him, he'll look the same as what we had out tonight and people will give out for signing average players yet again.
It's not who you play for it's how you play and this guy has been one of the top midfielders in the league all season. All those saying he plays for Blackpool, he's not good enough need to smell the coffee. Liverpool snobbery is a thing of the past. We are SHIT at the moment and have been for over a year. If we went along those lines we never would've signed some of the Liverpool greats of the past picked up from "unfashionable" clubs.
How many players have been picked up cheaply by the top clubs in the Premier League and been a success? I'm struggling to think of any. It just doesn't happen anymore. It's nice to romance about the way we used to pick up players from less fashionable clubs and they turned out to be quality. It doesn't happen anymore. Charlie Adam would add zero to our team and I doubt he would play much. The thoughts of us signing him would make me want to cry.
