boro 1 up through a peno.
sadly we could be 10 points behind the arsenal going into the man utd match. although we do have a game in hand.

win our game in hand and the match against utd and we are right back in it.
Also goes to show how bad rafa's selection was yesterday, being 4 behind with a game in hand would have been nicer thatn 7 and game in hand

Just shows that 7pts is not a massive lead the league is more competitive than ever before don't think there will be run away winners this year and expect us and the rest to drop points on the way thats just how it is
Its a relief that Boro got that result today, its done us a huge favour. As people have been saying, two wins in the next week puts us in a very favourable position.

Agreed. This is one of the most competitive Premierships in years! All the money spent at other clubs like Pompey and Man City means that teams outside the top 4 are taking points off the top 4.

It would have been even more competitive if Spurs had there act together.

pompey and man city on same points as us I might add.
But like it was stated when arsenal drew against newcastle.. no point in us throwing points away when they are not at their best.

[U]nfortunately united were big winners this weekend too. Now, we gotta stuff them next weekend. Is anyone else getting a bit nervous now. I cant wait.

Trying not to think bout it too much before sunday. Xmas party on the night before so Im going to be in tatters watching it. With the big 4 playing each other, big points will be dropped somewhere. Hopefully a gunners/blues draw and a tasty win for us:)
