maybe it's cos of the Rafa V the Owners situation over the last few Weeks but when i heared this the Ears pricked up. Keane was talking about the January Transfer Window-"i've just given Niall and Peter a few Targets,if they don't come off you can blame them." i may be wrong but have Sunderland not been the biggest Spenders this Season? would Rafa get away with making a Statement like that? up untill now i would've never considered Sunderland for the Drop but havin heared that i wouldn't be surprised...
Unless it was meant as tongue in cheek. I didnt hear the interview so im just guessing, but if he meant it,dont think Rafa would get away with it.
Yeah maybe he was only taking the piss but if Quinn was to sack Keane, who better could succeed him??If Ireland are finding it hard to find a decent gaffer and England on the lookout too it would just be another step back for Quinn when theyre already in a sticky situation in the league...
Hummm, With the boy Roy, sometimes it's hard to know if he's being serious or not .. whether tongue in cheek or not, that comment is pretty direct either way me thinks. To be fair about it, maybe what we are starting to see here is Managers standing up for themselves a bit more, rather than taking the blame for new players not being signed etc. Lets face it, when all is said and done, they are employees also, just like the players so maybe we should all keep that in mind a little more (myself included btw, not trying to put myself on a height here or anything).
Roles reversed reversed here.Quinn would be scared to say anything about him in case he threw another tantrum and threw his dummy out of his pram again, and then he would have to start all over again with him to settle him back down and put his dummy back in to keep him quiet.
Personally I think Roy is spot on here. I think too many Dubs can't accept that a Cork man is right all the time. just kidding lads
i'm with you on this one Sean. I've agreed and disagreed with lots of things that Keano has done.... but he's got it spot on here.... just cause he's the only manager in England that has won the power struggle with his chairman-should we hold it against him?
