Starts Tomorrow? Anyone be having any bets?

Watch out for Andy Hamilton you can get him at 277/1 with Betfair and 100/1 Generally in the bookies. He has an easy path to the quarter finals in my opinion and you never know from there.

    1st Round Shock

Tony Eccles to beat Adrian Lewis 9/2
Lewis is out of form at the moment, couldn't even get out of the group stages of the grand slam lossing all 3 games I believe.

There head to head record is also impressive for Eccles. In the last 2 encounters Eccles beat lewis both times.

    170'S

A Cert should be the Ladbrokes bet for more than 2 or more 170 checkouts in the whole tournment which is 4/5 I only wish I had a spare 500 laying about the house. Last year there was 4 of them and with Whitlock on show he could easily do it in his firstgame himself.

Apparently Eric Bristow tipped Simon Whitlock last year at 100/1. His tips for this year are Steve Beaton(159/1), Robert Thornton(250/1), Mark Walsh(149/1), and Gary Anderson(21/1). They are current betfair prices btw, just checked them there. Will be throwin a few bob e/w on the above for interest

Gary Anderson is quality half the time but if he comes out and plays he'll give Taylor a run for his money.....

The problem with Anderson is that he misses to many doubles. Brilliant at hitting the 140's and 180's but when it comes to a double he seems to fluff it.

Mark Walsh had been brilliant on the floor this season and good odds there could be work a bet alrite.

Taylor was awful tonight never seen him throw so bad. Win the game 3-0 but his check out was 26% and only a 3 dart average of 88. I wouldn't be backing him anyway at odds on to win it.

Beaton out aswell tonight shock there. Nicholson and Webster were both well on form, actually have a fiver on Nicholson at 100/1 so good start, his check out was 83%.

Thats a decent 3 dart average Barry :D Think it was around 88/89ish, I've never actually seen him play so badly, It's a long tournament tho so at least he has time to get it together.

Yeah sorry lol. 3 dart average was 88 I think. If he had of been playing anyone half decent he would of lost tonight.

Taylor out to 10/11 now on paddypower. I might back the field its at 10/11 aswell

Well I have never seen Taylor like that even in his interview. The last month weeks has been pretty poor from him Lost in first round in world cup to Spain went out in Grand Slams to Beaton lossing 5 legs in the bounce and lossing to Adrian Lewis in Dublin. I think anyway that there is a change about to happen but I will be probably proven wrong we he comes back a 16th title, another record 3dart average and a 9 darter :D

I like the look of Mark Walsh as an e/w bet but Taylor will end up with world title #16 this is what he putts all his practice in for

I dont think Nichols can go the distance, Webster played well last night but Maish was very poor in fairness. Barney is coming into good form and should be involved near the end and I'd imagine Wade to be amongst them also. As for Taylor, didnt play great last night against Rafa!! but Taylor can raise his game, and he considers this "his" tournament!!!
