The last two presents have been a digi Camera and Flat screen tv, so I have set myself up for a fall :D:D

Funny enough, I was thinking of taking her over to a match next year as a present, romantic weekend in Liverpool;)

women are impossible to shop for. I just a mix of things and throw them at my girlfriend, not literally of course.

you could take her away for a weekend somewhere nice in feb as a pressie.

Somewhere in italy.. skieing or something.

Or better yet mate, just book the trip for one person and meet up with some of us ;) lol :D :D :D

Like all of you, I'm also going through this hastle at the moment .. tell you one thing, a professional shopper offering to go sort something could make a fortune from all of us ;)

Pam
I don't suppose we can persuade you to do a few nixers for us, can we please ? ;)

... interesting suggestion from you above actually, only problem is we run the risk of an arguement breaking out, along the lines of:

- are you saying I'm ugly, or have facial hair, or am overweight etc etc etc if we go get some of that stuff ;) :D :D :D

(nothing like a bit of an agro across the dinner table in Christmas day though is there ;))

no flights or boat, that's crazy.

This weekend my whole weekend will cost bout 250 euros, that including flights, two nights city centre hotel and ticket. Although probably at least another 250 for beverages and snacks:D:D:D

I got a Nintendo DS Lite last year and it was a great present. You could get her a pink garmin sat nav as these seem to be all the rage at the moment. It's an ok entry model if you just want it for general directions but there are some better models out there depending what you want from it.

That fecking DS Lite is going to be the bane of my life over the next few days before xmas, going to be monitoring various forums for any sign of stores in Dublin getting stock in, then legging it to said store to pick it up! Fingers crossed...

Yeah I was in Game/Virgin/Argos in Dundrum on Monday and couldn't believe when I heard a DS couldn't be got. I was shopping for a pink PS2 believe it or not and High School Musical Singstar, also an in demand item, for the young one. I had got her a pink DS last year no bother so was surprised at its popularity this year. I thought PSPs were more in vogue last year but DS is deffo the best option for kids particularly with the stylus action going on not to mention not having to throw away all the old Gameboy games which is an ingenuis marketing ploy. I'd personally would go for PSP for the footie games and better selection of titles etc. but to be honest wouldn't get either for myself as I drive everywhere and don't see what use I'd ever get out of any handheld console.

The thing that got me is that its the same price as it was a year ago which is unusal as you'd have expected it to have dropped a bit.
