I am Interested in getting Sky Multiroom in the bedroom as only a tenner a month extra but then I found out that there is extra fee's involved to Install the box and all. Anyone phone up and get Multiroom in without paying for extra fees to install it? Also do you get a another remote?

    Hi mate.

My sister recently got it in their house, the got a deal (or sorts) ..

    - free additional room installation
    - free upgrade to HDTV (equipment was free but additional monthly fee gets charged)
    - then half price on the entire package, for 3 months (eh incl movies and sports, but not half price on the additional monthly fee for HD)

Basically, they just moved the existing SKY+ box from the main room, to another room and put the new HD Box into the existing room.

Hope that helps, would be interested in hearing how you / others get on, as very tempted myself I must admit ....

Think this was discussed before but i'll throw it out there anyway. I have the full sky pack, sports movies multiroom etc and it costs me 87 a month so I rang UPC yesterday to see what they had to offer. Same deal would cost 66 without multiroom and a extra fiver including multiroom so I rang sky today and told them i was thinking of leaving for this deal and straight away they reduced my bill to 69. Couldnt have been easier:D

yeah I have sports and movies and the kids channels. It was 87 of which 15 was for multiroom. so they halved the 72 left which meant 51 a month. Its only for 6 months but I'll try something again in May

sky are doing everything they can since upc came in, sky rang me there a few weeks ago and offered me half price, told them the package i was getting with upc and can they match it, even with half price they still fell short.
upc=15 meg, home phone and free calls off peak, all sports channels inc setanta sports 1 and 2 espn HD and all your news and run of the mill channels plus 2 multi rooms for 103 euro

Whos your internet with?, you better not have forgotten to inc in that price

I have the sports package, entertainment package(I get espn free with this), landline, internet, 2 extra points, 1 multiroom, hd box all those digital channels for 130 per month.

They have now moved ssn to the sports package which is a pain, as I cancel the sports package every summer as we has ssn on the digital, not any more though:mad: Feckers want you to keep the sports package all yr round.
Im sure they will do some kind of cheap option for the summer months?

Himm, I know the entertainment package is only 15 quid. I have only one hd box as well. I think when I include the extra points per month and the entertainment pk it would be about right.

Some amount to be handing out for entertainment isnt it
