how do you think we will line out?

It is plain to see, that Spurs will attack like mad from the off. Counter attack will be the way forward IMO.

    I'd go

    Pepe
    Kelly
    Carra
    Soto
    Konchesky
    Johnson
    Lucas
    Meireles
    Maxi
    Dirk
    Nando.

This means Kelly and Johnson can look after the threat of bale and the Greek can deal with Pavlyachenko or Crouchy. Carra instead of Skrtel 'cos we are bound to be defending on the edge of our own box for most of the game.

not a good idea. Recipe for disaster actually, sitting back and inviting pressure. Should press up the pitch and put the squeeze on Spurs, then we can create chances of our own.

Maybe not but realistically can't see Roy going for that approach. I can see us defending and playing on the counter like we have tried to do away from home all season. Not saying it's the right way to do it, just saying it as I see it. Gallas and Kaboul aren't the fastest, if they push up should give Nando a chance to run in behind hopefully.

ah no, i do agree with what you're saying. That's the most likely to happen alright.
Wouldn't fear Spurs either, and they aren't the best at the back. Hopefully VDV plays tonight, and is fooked for the weekend.

Spurs are no great shakes and with a different manager, id fancy us. With Roy, unfortunately I think w ebe beaten for the reasons already mentioned by others here and how he'll set us up!

Regardless of the lineup it will be 10 men behind the ball with Nando the lone ranger up front dealing with hoofed balls.

A couple of speculative shots on goal & that will be us unfortunately.
If all goes to Roy's plan we'll get a point.

    Hope im proven wrong.

Won't take a pick of heed of that until Sunday when the teams are announced. Malouda wasn't going to start against us either

I wouldn't mind crouch as much if we play Soto but the thoughts of Lennon and Bale outstripping out full backs for 90 mins isn't nice.

Hoping for another CL hangover here. If the new Gareth Bale turns up GJ is in big trouble. They're quite weak in defence though so Torres will be our key to this one. If he's anywhere near his best I fancy us and I can definitely see 3+ goals in the game.
