Mate of mine (in his mid 30's) has taken a power nap between 6-8 every weekday as long as I've known him. I've never understood it. I hate sleeping and a power nap to me is getting a 3hr kip after being awake for 24.
I'm up at 0530 most mornings so a nap during the day is essential, makes all the difference.the trick is not to sleep for too long though cos if Ye do Ye can't fcukin sleep then at night..
Yeah roughly the same as,drive the work van in the morning so i can get a quick nap on the way home, usually the length of the M3 is good enough.
we used to take turns driving from Limerick to Tullamore everyday, so we were up at half 6 every morning, if i wasnt driving id go to sleep fromm about 7 til 7:45, and then on the way home, from like 5 til about half 5, and that was grand every day
Horrible when you go for a nap but wake up worse off than you were and even more tired, especially before a night out
Power naps are seen as a good thing in businesses in Japan. Seemingly you are more likely to get a promotion if you power nap. It increases productivity and sharpness.
Can't beat a little power nap especially when you were out the night before and are going out again that night, a little 1 hour maybe 2 just to recharge the batteries....
up at 545am and go to sleep around midnight, 11pm if im lucky. Having a tv in the bedroom doesnt help one bit. Its habit at this stage. Even on a day off Im bloody awake early. The latest I have slept on a day off is 10/1030 but then Im awake later that night. Im wrecked now after travelling today but still cant sleep
In the jax in the job you will find me atleast twice per 5 hour shift having a 15 minute power nap. Absolutely crave them at this point, just breaks up the shift . Love it.
