Brings back memories of when I was about 17 and thought this was the solution to all my problems ... you should have seen and tasted some of the stuff we drank, poison but potent lol :D

All said and done, I'd expect the quality of the stuff is much better now, that was 20 years ago and as long as there's a bit of self control exercised, then you should be able to produce some decent quality stuff.

Look forward to hearing how this goes for you guys ... hopefully, very well :)

    Wouldn't be into it now.
You'd have an arse like the Japanese flag if it goes wrong, at least.

Didn't want to start a new thread so thought i'd put it in here.

My cousin-in-laws in the States both brew. We're heading over there for xmas and would like to get them some of those vintage irish metal beer signs.

Anyone know where I can get them?

had a quick search there and they seem pricey enough so any help would be greatly appreciated

Forgot all about this...well not much to report back on. It was like being back in school, sitting in a chemistry class. Completely went over my head, probably didn't help that I had a few of his 8% red ale in me!

Anyway just think I'm going to buy one of those starter kits and see how she goes
