Went to Berlin last year and really enjoyed it.The bass player from the bloodhound gang has a party bus that pimp my ride designed for him.You can go on a piss up on it for a tenner it was fairly class.Pubs are fairly spread around alright but still a good spot IMO.

The metro is great and very easy to get around. It's massive mind you. We stayed in the Generator Hostel but very basic and very young. Watched the first leg of the 05 semi there before flying to liverpool for the second leg!! Had to re-book flights like a mad thing!! ;-)

So much history there, great to see it all, nuts. It has the fastest lift in the world down in the financial district. Loads to see and do.

Be careful of the metro tickets though - a 24hr ticket expires at midnight regardless of when ya buy it. I was well nabbed. So just read the small print!! Enjoy! :)

Check out the Propeller Island City Lodge a fairly cool and quirky hotel, a bit different and if staying be careful of the room you book some are mad. We enjoyed it stayed in the room - Landscapes very cool .. . .

Was there in the summer for a few days. Not really into sight-seeing and all that but we went on a few tours and they were pretty good to be fair. Not sure I'd go back though.

Don't go to the Matrix nightclub, dodgy as f**k.

Yes some of the rooms are .. . . different . . . The Temple room is also nice but is open plan so toilet and shower is behind a wall that does not meet the ceiling and the room Nudes is fairly dark especially in the shower!!! I saw these as the other couple on the trip stayed in both you can stay a night or two in one room and move rooms for another night which is also cool. A different Artist designed and made all items for each room the hotel is like a Modern Art Gallery. If you want something different thats the place . . .
