Liverpool’s newly appointed director of football strategy, Damien Comolli, is keeping an eye on Preston North End’s Adam Barton. Comolli was in attendance at Deepdale on Friday night to watch the highly rated nineteen year old, who has been scouted by Liverpool for several weeks now. Barton can be described as a ‘box to box’ centre midfielder. He has been an ever-present for Preston this season, scoring once. Comolli was also in attendance to watch Daniel Ayala, who is currently on loan at Hull City. Meanwhile, Comolli has praised St Etienne winger Dimitri Payet. fcuk me im kind of tipsey but i was expecting a different barton, and i was going to say this is worst than the Ireland rumour.. Any preston player could be picked up for cheap enough now,as they are not playing well under ferguson and there was the dreaded vote of confidence from the PLAYERS last week, so id say we could pick him up cheap enough.. Keep a eye out for a young Tramere Bloke called Jennings, the Boy has a talent..Thats all i will say on him..
