lads Just a bit of advic please. without going in too much details ive a disability that requires me to use crutches most of my life. this one pub/club will never let me come in cause iv crutchs. "tryed many of times and been told leave the sticks at the door and you can come in" i know that the have the right to refuse anyone the like, but if its just over the crutches is it not Discrimination? not fair
thats absolutely appauling behaviour mate on their part! Their point of view must be that the crutches could be used as a dangerous weapon, but thats bullsh*t in my opinion, a pint glass to the face will do alot more damage than a whack of a crutch! Total discrimination i reckon, and i for one(great man to hold a grudge) would fight tooth and nail to f*ck them over in some way, whether it be financial or some other way beneficial to yourself
That is absolutely disgraceful. It might be an idea to go into the pub at a time when the bouncers are not on duty and ask to speak to the manager to explain your situation. If the situation is not resolved. These are the people to contact. http://www.equality.ie/ Let us know how you get on.
Could not believe your post mate. Go with the advice from the Mod above . Hope you get that sorted as its not right .
this is disgraceful behaviour, i have dj'd in a few clubs and seen people on crutches and in wheelchairs and never been a problem, hope you get it sorted !
That is absolutely dreadful behaviour, i would seek advice from some one actually knows the law , that kind of thing is in no way acceptable
the a load of bull mate its defo descrimination i cant believe they would be like that you should try sort it like lionel said above you should go into the pub during the day and see the manager and see what he says what pub is it
Get someone to record a video of them refusing to serve/let you in and take them to the cleaners . I can't stand hearing stories like your one , it makes my blood boil
lads thanks for all the messages. just to point out its a club in Liverpool(Very well knowing at that) Dont no to tell the name or not( on till a mod says its ok) being told from a bouncer at a club up the road from this one, to get on to the liverpool echo and the Liverpool MP. Normaly on my own,the guy reckons if i was with anyone the would not refused me.
Yeah it is defo discrimination alright but you would find it hard to take them to court. All the doormen have to say is that we have the right to refuse admission into our club and legally they are covered.
