Had a few Mulled Wines in the one in Budapest last year. They sell candles, cos Lehaner bought one for his mother :)

It wasn't that good to be honest.

Yep it certaintly would..got loads of 2euro flights last year, places like oslo, belgium and germany, but i was using a visa electron card which meant i was been charged the credit card charge..

Also keep a eye on ryanair site,as they have sales every few weeks, but you have to travel sunday to thursday i think, and when their is a sale you have to get on it asap,as they sell out quickly..

I have been to one in Brussels - was nice. Not sure if I'd go there especially for it though.

My wife is mad in to the Christmas Markets,

    We've been to

Prague - excellent markets, real genuine hand made stuff, not cheap imports like some others - really old city to visit - must see Charles Bridge, it's magic at night. Very cheap food off the beaten track. Got main courses for something like a fiver, you will pay 20 in the market areas

Budapest - good markets here too, bit more scattered, good touristy stuff to do when not at markets - Put up food prices for tourist season and market time

Berlin - good markets - products more of a manufactured look - excellent touristy stuff with German history, berlin wall, brandenburg gate and all that stuff. It was -18 deg c last Christmas here!!

We're going to Vienna this year, they are meant to be the oldest and the best markets in Europe. I hear Burges are good to, was not there for markets, was there one summer, truly amazing place.
