Hi, Towards the end of last we a few of us on here talked about meeting up for games in Wexford. http://www.irishkop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14252 The pool are on TV 4 times in November 7 Nov 2010 Chelsea H 16:00 (Sky) 13 Nov 2010 Stoke City A 17:30 (ESPN) 20 Nov 2010 West Ham H 17:30 (ESPN) 28 Nov 2010 Tottenham A 16:00 (Sky) The Bolton game this Sunday is probably too short notice for people to meet. But if anyone wants to try to arrange to meet up for one of the games in Nov it would be great. Maybe then we could pick a game each month to meet up. Be good to meet up with others on here and have a regular meeting place for games etc. Any suggestion of locations are welcome, this includes everyone from Enniscorthy, Gorey etc... Axel
Good idea Axel, I'd be up for that. Theres a lot from wexford on here now. In Gorey, McGoverns is a good spot. Katie Dalys is decent for watching a mtch now too
Somewhere more central between arklow and wexford , How about Inch . Enniscorthy or Gorey probably best
Rather than open a new thread, just use this one.... Just wondering do any Wex reds on here know anything about a Wexford Liverpool FC Supporters Club???? Someone in work mentioned to me that there is a meeting next week. I had a search on google and there is a Facebook page, but im blocked from FB in work... Anyone on here in it? Is it worth joining??
just seen it myself on facebook they seem to have meetings in towns around wexford with access to home and away tickets. Looks like a fella from the faythe area of town is running it
Will check the FB page later...must be only new so..heard the meeting is in the Swan next Tuesday. Will you go along??
Will prob head along on Tues if im around...already have LFC membership..so hopefully get reduction in joining fee..

Meeting on Tuesday at 8.30 in Wicked Swan, Wex town. Also meeting in Enniscorthy on Monday night: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wexford-Branch-Liverpool-Supporters-Club/175876602460494 €50 to join, but if already have membership just pay to join branch. Ill be going along, hopefully see a few others from IK there as well...
Might tag along to see what it is all about. But basically im not been smart, but if you have a memebership, is there any really need to join a supporters club?? One thing it would be handy for, is if they could get a decent pub in wexford that showed ALL of the liverpool games, Not just the ones which are on Sky or Setanta.Wexford is seriously lacking that, as i dont think there is any where on a saturday where you could go into town and watched a game which is not on the tele in a pub.
