He said he wants a move in January, could be a half decent signing on the cheap in January. Keep Roy happy, pick up a few goals if Torres is out and save the big cash for the summer when the markets are fully active

Looks like Sparky will land him before us Shay, as he signed him up at City so I'd say he would go back to his old gaffer!!

He's already said he wants to play in Spain so I reckon thats where he'll be off to in January.

No price mentioned but it wont be anywhere near 20m, i'd say less than half that

City refuse to sell to Premiership rivals(presuming they still see us in that light), so I presume he'll move to Fulham or abroad.

hasn't played much football the last two years plus so don't think he fits the bill for us. Is he around 30 now ?

Yeah think he is 29. Think he could do a job for us but he would want to improve on his WC performances when i thought he was very poor.

was thinking the same he's hitting 30, 2 bad injury hit seasons and im sure he's earning a fine wage at city that he wouldnt accept what we'd pay him

Santa Cruz is a decent player but he's not what we need.

We are crying out for pace in our attack so if we're only to bring in one Striker in January my priority and hopefully Roys is to get a speed merchant who can finish!

Instead of a backup I would rather have him play alongside Torres, would love to see 2 upfront from Liverpool this season.

unfortunetely i'd agree there....disgraceful waste of talent to see bellamy in chamship while we're crying out for a striker!
on roca, he's mega injuryprone, so i'd leave him alone!
