I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.

I know they're a fruit, but I had to tell someone, and it was going either here or in "Football Chat".

Get yourself a fan rake and give it a right good going over a couple of times and let it breath over the winter months. Next Spring give it another go and then after about a week put down some seed. It might need more than 2 rakes at first but use your muscles mate.

This is gospel, I have a banana tree and summer before last it bloomed (has a huge bloom) and out of the bloom came fruit, small bananas. They didn't mature. Have you ever seen that in our climate under normal conditions & is there a way to grow them properly?

No never but i have seen grapes, oranges and the likes, but the bananas not in our climate Liam no. Greenhouse is the way to go but under the right conditions.
