    Anybody have a Sat Nav and ca offer advice...?,I am thinking about getting MrsDub13 one for Xmas as she is brutal with directions.Nothing to expensive as you know woman she may not even use it.

    Joe/block 102 has one and its got us out of a few holes whilst away from home he will fill you in on it !

    ps most women are brutal with directions ! (run away quick smiley)

    Garmin nuvi are the best for Irish mapping, the nuvi 250 is about €250

    I have the garmin nuvi 350 off www.komplett.ie it was 299 and it is the business. even has the back roads in sligo :eek:

    Garmin are the best.. Got one from BMW dealer! They have a better package than shops due to a deal they have with them.. Faitly cheap too

    Yeah I went into Halfords to get one but they were sold out of most models. The offer is on until the 16th though. I'm going to get the garmin 310 model as this can be used to download speed camera locations and it has a good few things on it too. Garmin have teamed up with www.irishspeedtraps.com to provide this service to Irish people with their sat nav systems. The models that support this are Garmin Nuvi 250, 250w, 310, 610, 710 and Zumo 550. Hope that helps!

    That irishspeedtrap website offers you the chance to download the camera locations and also beeps when you are speeding.

    But its 35 quid, rip off

    Works on most garmins, i asked them about the 350 and they said they only test on one version of each make - ie - 2oo series, 300 series etc

    Would love it but dont wanna pay for it

    After doing a bit of digging around I ended up going for this....Garmin Nüvi 250W,it looks like it can do the job.Now lets hope it gets here for Xmas.
