Does anybody no much about ipods, mine froze two days ago, the apple logo appears on the screen. I tried to reset it by holding down menu and the select wheel. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to reset the ipod. Its not even a year old.

Any help would be well appreciated.

Just to double check your "hold" button isnt on?

I had the problem before and I done the same as you held down the menu+play/pause button for at least 10 seconds and it worked, did you try holding down the menu/centre of ipod?

let the battery run dead, then fully charge and let run dead again,. then charge and it will work, its a common problem with the old ipods, they nees to run dead every now and again to regulate the battery,.

turn it off and leave it off for at least a hour and turn it back on, it should go back to normal then, it happens to most Ipods

I can't turn it off as its frozen and the apple logo won't go off at all, or only does for a second and comes back. I'm on the Ipod forum looking for advise aswell.
    Thanks for the help lads!
