Just wondering is anyone on her a member of toutless.com that might be able to assist me. Signed up for the site last year but can't log on and it tells me to contact an administrator but can't get a link or email to do so. Any help or assistance appreciated.
Wondering can anyone tell me if I'm screwed here. Sold a ticket for a gig on toutless and due to the weather it didn't arrive at my place on time. I PM'd the guy who was buying off me on the Thursday before the gig(i had kept him updated throughout), to say i wouldn't be able to get it to him on time and that I was arranging for it to be picked under his name. He didn't reply until Friday evening(2 days before the gig) saying he didn't want to collect and wanted a refund. I got back to him within an hour saying I had made arrangements that it was to be collected under his name and all he needed was a scan of my ID and the confirmation e-mail they sent me. He didn't bother replying to me and filed for a refund through PayPal. He hasn't bothered replying to any messages I've sent through toutless or PayPal. I'm probably gonna have to give him a refund I guess but what an ar$ehole. He could have at least got back to me on the Friday and said he still didn't want the ticket and give me some bit of time to try sell to someone else.
While I'm absolutely nothing to do with this and don't know the other party involved, it reads a lot like they didn't want the ticket anymore so took advantage of the situation - suspect that happened a lot with the bad weather and restrictions on peoples movements around the country. Sounds unfair to me like you'd it sorted for him to collect in good time and were willing to give him a scan of your ID via email.
PayPal issued him a refund but I appealed it so waiting to hear. I discovered that the same fella asked me a question on eBay about another ticket I was selling(not over face-value of course). He asked me the question the day after i replied to him on toutless, so shows that he didn't bother replying to me. I know he got my message on toutless that night anyway because the message had left my inbox. Looking at his eBay account he just buys tickets a lot, wondering is he maybe a tout. @click22 It's a matter of trust alright. If you're planning on buying tickets through PayPal, make sure you agree on certain things etc. and keep records just in case.
I've used it to buy and sell a few times and its ok...sold some tickets on it yesterday...like everything in life you just have to be careful
Do many from here use this site? I know Ninjas a mod, not sure if he still is. Reason i ask, a manc mate of mine said theres a lad sellin 4 for the manc game, was just wonderin how leggit he is. Doesnt say how much, just to email him for info. Cheers
used it a few times and its been fine. Your not allowed to sell tickets over cost price. I think John Malone and Rover are on the site too. Always found the site fine, when buying for concert sites and some sports events such as the Darts. Never bought a football ticket though.
Bought and sold from the site before but have had few issues with people trying to rip you off in private mail Just report them and there banned. If you have to contact for info, i would highly doubt he is too legit. He should give enough info in the post about whether they are face value or not etc.
Was thinkin that meself alrite Pat. Why not just post up how much he wants for each ticket. Prob best to swerve that 1.
Have used it a few times to sell tickets, never had major issues, had one guy offering to buy above cost price for Europa cup final in Dublin but I didn't sell to him, never thought about reporting him. As has been said like all of these sites always be careful.
Use it a bit as one young lad is on the dark side lad over there joe sells manc tickets he is sound and has a friend also I use this usermane so if you pm him ref me he will come back to you. Any one that uses toutless agrees to sell for face value but I always pay for the registered post both ways.
Anyone know if ticket prices would generally go up or down on the day of a gig? Rihanna is on tomorrow night and there seems to tonnes for sale so I'm thinking the demand for them is not to hot.
Its between you and the seller Bobby. You can offer him a lower price if you want. I was checking the Robbie Williams tickets last weekend, and i noticed some people were willing to take a huge hit on them on the Day, But other people were still looking for full Price. When oxegen was on a couple of years i managed to get two tickets on the friday for the weekend, alot cheaper.Guess it just depends on who you are dealing with.
