Bought a Gerrard Portrait... Bought this recently... It was done by a relatively prominent Irish painter, just wondered what yis think? I'm not saying what I paid for it at this stage, maybe later.. Happy enough with it though. Pic taken funny angle It measures about 2ft x 2.5ft

Nice painting. Stevie looks a bit boney in the torso/arms, but the definition in the face is spot on for that style of painting.
Honestly though, i've a stevie drawing in a similar type pose which takes pride of place & yours should too

Nah, it's being exaggerated - the big head thing cos of the angle I took photo at.... Look at the relative size of the top and the bottom of the photo I'll try take another one!!
Doesn't really matter what we think of it. I have seen some truly God awful art pieces in my time (the foyer downstairs at work hosts a fair few exhibitions) yet they sell for 100's if not 1000's of euro. If you like, that's all that matters. It's not a bad piece but I'm not gone on it.
Looks like it won the Texaco Childrens Art Competition this year But serious, only matters if you like it, peoples taste varies, i for one hate Michael Owen
I think it's not to bad just the size of the body compared to head looks a bit wrong. So how much you pay for it
