Anyone recommend a nice hotel/holiday homes in Ireland? Thinking of heading away with the family for a few days and looking for some ideas as there's so many places out there it's hard to know.....
Shay i booked the mc william park hotel in claremorris mayo for 3 nights for €174 B&B for a family room, it is a top of the range hotel with a swimming pool and spa stuff, lovely restaurant and a good bar that always shows the footie. The town is good too there is a play centre in it if there is kids going with you and plenty of restaurants bars etc
If you book through http://www.supervalugetawaybreaks.com you will get a holiday home practically anywhere in the country for €299 for a week from September to December. Fantastic value. Stayed in one of these in Killarney two years ago and it was spot on.
Ah, my home town Check out O'Briens if there as well. Old pub owned by two manc supporters. Ignoring that they are sound lads who deliver a top class pint of the black stuff! Haven't been in the McWilliam Park Hotel yet believe it or not, but there for a wedding in a few weeks. I'm at a loss for a suggestion Shay, as you said, so many places. Heard Carton House is nice but could be expensive?
Killarney castle hotel Shay, we got a great deal for a break in October, 3 nights accomadation B&B with 3 evening meals, €400 in total
Bit late in the day but 50% sale in the carlton hotel group if ya book today http://www.carlton.ie/apprentice?__?
I've had great stays in Westport, Kilkenny, Cork and Letterkenny through www.selfcatering-ireland.com/
Nice one for all the responses lads & lasses Cally, got on this today. 3 nights in November for €147, don't think it includes breakfast though. Gonna have a look for another place for a couple of days after that too
