I'd agree with that list, but maybe wouldn't have Pepe as high (the derby anyone). Crouch and Masch should also get a mentioned as even though they didn't play as many games their performances were consistantly good. Steve Finnan definately the best, most consistent full back in the premiership. I'd be expecting a certain Mr. Gerrard MBE in the top two or three next season.
Good to see finnans getting some recognition,hes often taken for granted,had a poorish start to the season (then again so did most of the team) but from oct/nov on was back to mr consistent again.
I totally agree with that poll. It's good to see him getting recognition for the player he has become rather that JC and SG who seem to win every other end of season poll.
I have to say I think Jamie Carragher was outstanding, and maybe he is the only one I would put above Finnan. Stevie G had a poor year and doesnt deserve to be on list....can do much better. Id say Mascherano will be top of poll next year
Finnan, Carra, Dagger and Kuyt woukd have been my top 4 in the list Well deserved for Stevie Finnan to get it along with Carra most underrated defenders in the Prem
I think Carra started to get more recognition over the last year or so (but is still completely under rated). Finnan gets no recognition and is the most consistent right back in the premiership.
yup had him down as my player of the season....carra was actually poor for a few games at the beginning of the season :O
