Left back and left wingers are a priority now. Id ensure Mashcerano is permanent. If we keep Sammi we are ok at centre back for another year, as long as carra doesnt get injured. Heinze would be welcomed but there is no way that they will sell to us.

Wingers...wingers...wingers....... With Gonzalez and Garcia gone....we need someone to supply the ammunition for our strikers. Alves would be great...anyone fancy Shaun Wright Philips??? I see Quaresma mentioned previously as well......all good creative wingers (when given there chance!!). At the back...heinze would be great, physical, knows the premiership, left footed and also very aggressive (which I think we need on away days to some of the route 1 teams in the prem!!).

Speedy still isn't officially gone remember. Thought Betis had bid 5m for him, as was unusually (for not a done deal) detailed on official site along with Zenden leaving. But currently same site reporting on him in Copa America as one of ours.

I presume Rafa has ideas about replacing Garcia's link play possibly with Benayoun but generally I think we'll be playing two up front anyway with Torres starting with whoever else. Makes the central midfield selection interesting if Gerrard isn't in that second striker role and probably very changeable. F*ck we'll have a stronger looking bench this season (although I'd still have liked Luis on it).
