Never started one of these beofre but want to look at the team selctions that people think Roy will put out or would like to see him put out. This should be the start of what I hope will be a realy good season at home for Liverpool, but never assume that you will win. The current squad has a couple of notable holes in it but i think we could still field a strong enought team to give anybody problems, so we could stuff West Brom. hope both Jovanovic AND Kuyt arent playing in the same team - bot slow with no touch and neither of em stay wide so it'll be the same as the city game with no width whatsoever - we can prob cope with one bein on the team but not both. babel prob deserves a go inthis one - i'm not his biggest fan but he is the only guy with pace in teh squad bar torres so i'd stick him on. it doesnt look like we're gonna be able to offload him either so he mayas well earn his corn. i'd much prefer stevie to play off torres butin the absence of any other midfielder at the club who can actually pass the fu**in ball he should prob get the nod in midfield with poulsen who needs the gametime. my team would be: ---------------------------------REINA----------------------------- Johnson------------Carra----------Skertl--- ----Aurelio/Kelly Maxi---------------Poulsen--------Stevie-----------Babel --------------------Torres-----------------Kuyt--------------------------

Have to agree. Jovanovic not not set the world on fire at all. i know it is still early days but he has made some terrible mistakes. He looks to have a bit of skill on the ball but no footballing brain.
