How do you add a picture to a thread?

I can add an attachment but not a picture? When I click on Insert Image it comes up with http:// but I cant browse to where the image is?

 

You need to right click the pic, click on properties and copy and paste the link into the insert image box, delete the http that appears in the box as it will be in your link that you have copied

Try hosting the pic on tinypic or photobucket and copy the url into the thread

 

will give it a lash

Upload the photo from your machine to imageshack, I usually opt to make the image smaller from the drop-down menu to "640x480 for messageboards." Let it do its thing and when it is done I select the second option, "Direct Link" and copy the code.

Click the image button on the advanced post on the top of the box and paste the code into it. And Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt.
