With kind permission from Dub13, Some of you on here may have come across BackPageFootball.com over the past few month, and Irish run football blog covering all sorts of topics. Well this week we started our podcast, and the reception so far has been outstanding. I'm sure it may interest some of you - so any downloads and subscribes would be massively appreciated. We're currently 1st on the iTunes sport and recreation chart, which is amazing, and any more help from you guys would be great http://itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/id384893762 And here's a link to the post on the blog about it http://backpagefootball.com/featured/hold-the-back-page-ep-1/ There's a few kinks that need working out (the sound and microphones in particular) but that'll iron out with time. So over the coming weeks expect more guests, better quality disussion and a pretty good pod to listen to Any feedback is greatly appreciated, and if you want to get involve on the site or the blog someway please get in contact. Thanks - Kev
A sound bunch of lads are behind this,I hope it works out it seems to be going down well as its up the top of the charts.
In this week's podcast Ciaran and Neil are joined by A-League podcaster Christian Layland, the Liverpool Echo's Neil Jones to chat about the takeover as well as author and journalist Malachy Clerkin to talk about his new book on the history of Lansdowne Road. There's also some betting chat with PP's Chris on the Championship. http://backpagefootball.com/featured...ack-page-ep-2/ Enjoy, subscribe and spread the word/
Listened to it today and found it very good. A few jibes at Robbie in AUS which I was not happy about Would recommend it
listnd to the first one will aslco check out the second its good to have somthing other than off the ball
Listened to this last night, the second one is a huge improvement on the first and fair play for sorting out the microphone issues etc so quickly. I’m a regular listener of football podcasts and it’s great to have another Irish podcast other than Off the Ball. My only criticism of it would be the jokes/puns at the end of every sentence for the first few minutes, it’s a bit cringe worthy. It’s one of the main reasons I don’t listen to Off The Ball as much anymore as I’ve gotten fed up listening to the lads trying to be funnier than each other! But overall, fair play for setting this up, looking forward to listening the next one. Would recommend it to other users aswell.
Yeah I noticed that, an odd here or there is alright, however it did seem a bit OTT at the start. Stopped listening to off the ball completely as Ken Earley was doing my head in with his 'wit'.
