After 6 or 7 years on the Block Booking Waiting List, I got a letter in the post offering me a Season Ticket(Category B-cheap seats)for the Aviva. Happy enough.

Costs 350 for the 9 games this season. 3 Friendlies,3 Qualifiers, and 3 Four Nations Tournament games in the Spring. Works out at 39 per game and they give you a card.

    Anyone else get the letter?

Think they only apply to them 250 tickets where only 50% of the pitch is visible!

you can apply for season tickets on YBIG they have a good few but they are in the singing section so you have to be willing to participate in the madness

A thread will probably appear closer to the time but my brother has asked me to keep an eye out for the dirty mancs game. If anyone has any spares I'd appreciate if you keep me in mind.

Wouldn't say there would be too many on here going to that. But there is a big sign outside the store on westmoreland st saying tickets are on general sale. Prices 45-60.

I got the letter today as well. I was on the block booking scheme for all the croke park games. Went to them all over the three years, shitty friendlys and all spending a fortune in the process, only for the FAI to tell me a few months ago they couldn't offer me tickets for the aviva.

Then low and behold, letter arrives today saying they're delighted to offer me a season ticket. 350 quid isnt too bad but I think they can go shove it tbh. Nothing but a shower of w*nkers

I got it as well Barry, delighted to get it to be honest, although it looks like i wont make too many of the games due to work etc, I'm thinking more for future years ahead, the foot is in the door as it were.

Yeah Paddser, I got it as well. Had 3 tckts for the Croke Park Campaign, but was told they had nothing once they moved to Aviva. Its gonna kill me, but out of work now and cant afford the €1050 for 3 season tickets. So it looks like I'll have to reject them.

On that, if anyone is interested in taking these off my hands, let me know before Tuesday's deadline. Cheers.

I think ill ring them telling them Iv a fear of heights and ask them for a lower tier ticket so. Nothing worse than being stuck up in the back few rows in the Upper tiers, where the sight lines are very poor apparently

Got the letter myself after about ten years on the waiting list. Haven't missed a home gam ein ten years either but it's nice now to not have to be worrying about the big games and hassling people for tickets!

Why would you not take them up on it? You must have asked for it so why turn it down now when its offerd to you.

I got the letter too and i am unsure what to do. I also did not miss a croke park game only to be told "thanks for your money now fcuk off"!!

I was thinking of taking them up, but not if they are up in the gods!!!

    Are they restricted view seats??

Guys I don't think these are lifetime tickets. Its because the corporate vantage club aren't selling. You get the season ticket which is 9 games (6 friendlies), but after that there is no guarantee of renewal.

Have you been told this or is it just your own thinking?

Got the letter myself offering two tickets.

I would imagine once you get them you keep them. The FAI need that guaranteed money so they are not going to take them off people after a year and have to try and re sell them. Anyone who has been on the waiting list should take them because you probably wont be offered one again for a long time.
