I think the FA will not go for an Englishman this time,the simple fact is there is no Englishman good enough to take the job.If Big Sam had of stayed at Bolton he may have had a chance but he is in a big pile of dog poo up at Newcastle at the moment and I cant see the FA rescuing him.In saying that stranger things have happened.
I dont think its a case of Gobby Sam not doing well in the trophy free zone the problem is he is just trying to a cut and paste of his Bolton tactics with Newcastle and there are too many players at the club that can play football which is against his beliefs. They arent scrappers which is what his tactics need. Apparently O'Neill expressed interest in this position before. I think he would be a favourite amongst the fans but if they dont get him, they will have to go for a big money foreigner. No englishman is up to it.
