Im a premership fan and becasue of that I would have liked to see England go through.

McClown dropping Beckham out of sheer Stubbornness in the first 5 or 6 qualifiers when they needed him in big away games, if not for anything else but his experience, reguardless of who's captain .. and then bring him back and make the statment that England need a player like Beckham, the man is a fool.

Even Stan would have qualified with that player base to pick from, Im not kidding either.

I agree, we will get a better price for him from Villa if he is (lets be honest)

I am bloody delighted. McClaren is smarmy ******. I am delighted for muppets like Ian Wright, John Motson and Clive Tysdley.

Think mcClown will bw gently pushed out the door.

For a team like that ( i know they had a few injuries) not to qualify is a disgrace

Well the FA have called a meeting for 8:30am in the morning so looks like he's going to be given the push out the door alright.

Mourinho for the next England Manager?

I have no doubt he'll be up near the top of the FA list for any potential new managers, I'm just not sure he'd take it though. Still young for a manager and I reckon his next job will be in club management again.

Ah now..... :D

To think that the English media slaughtered Eriksson who only lost 2 competitive games in charge, one of them against Brazil with ten men.:rolleyes: What will they make of the red-blooded Englishman who lost 3 in one campaign??

And SS thought he had it bad....

But lads, it's that time of tournament again when we can announce, for the 13th time in succession, that England are

OUT

of the European championship.

God, that sounds great. :D

McClown sacked this morning. Bookies have O'Neill as favourite. Hopefully he'll stay at Villa so we can get our £10m for Scottie, otherwise deal might fall through.

Hope this doesn't mean we get El Tel.

Doubt O'Neill would take it. He doesnt need the pressure.

He might take it so he doesn't have to sit beside Ian Wright at the next world cup in the bbc studio.:D
