I think he's going to be like a new signing this season............finally! Thats providing he can stay fit(keeping everything crossed for the lad)
He has to repay Rafa and the fans for sticking by him, I'd love him to silence the critics this season 'cos you don't just become a bad player overnight.

He'l be like a new signing if he delivers, the man makes 60,000+ a week and owes the fans big time for some of his performances since joining from leeds

Agree %100 mate, that is a massive IF, this is his last chance this season IMO

I'd say he won't get a new contract he needs to have a good August to December to even get Rafa to contemplate giving him a new contract

Big year for Kewell, if he can stay injury free? seem to hear this every year.
But if he can! with his present form with the Aussies and preseason it would be great to see him running at defences and whipping in balls especially against the weaker teams early season.

Kewell has plenty of ability but I wonder if he will ever do it for us. Aside from 2005-6 when he showed flashes of brilliance he has not achieved enough IMO.
He is worth a gamble for one more year, but I wouldnt extend his contract unless he was stellar next season.
Its now or never (Again) for Harry

I think if he does well enough to be offered another contract it will only be at reduced wages.

All the more reason to try and sell him now ..... lets try and get something back for him and get him off the wages bill, before we have him injured and costing us more money over the next 12 months !
