Actually - just thinking, this is some-what good news for us. With Nando being an Athletico man through and through - he is reported as saying the Premiership is too hard for him - cant see him going to Italy and now Barca dont want him, he could stay with us now - There isnt the lure of European Football from City (mind you, presently, they will put a better league run together compaired to us).
But it certinly isnt bad news.

All we need is for Aguero to stay in Spain or go to Italy & we're sorted!
Litterally makes you drool when you look at Barca's attacking talent now.

excellent signing but maybe a bit expensive considering he's 28/29 - i still reckon he'll hit 30+ goasl next season. he is a top class player and well better than zlatan who is inconsistent ot say the least

Yeah - he might have stayed at Vallencia just a little too long to become a real great.

Some signing for Barca, I wonder will they try to offload Ibrahimovic now.
With Fabregas looking like he is on his way they will be even stronger next year.
Barca & Real look like they are going to be streets ahead of anyone else again next season.

Prob not for the simple reason that Nando has proven himself in English football where as, as class as Villa is who knows how he might adapt. If that was the case then thank God we got the right one in my opinion. I honestly think, if please God Nando were to stay long enough, he will be remembered as the greatest striker to play for Liverpool. Whether he stays long enough to prove that is another thing. Villa is word class but Nando gets my vote, injuries and all.

Yeah, it's true. Put an end to any rumours linking him with us now anyway.

Guess that means he won't be signing.
That rules him out for January so

Was sure this was a certainty for January:D
EDIT: This could make a loan deal for Torres to Barca a viable option if the Torres rumors are true.

Jasus thats unlucky for villa. Because of his age now and that injury, the question will be will he ever be the same player again .

Highly doubt Torres will leave Chelsea in January, let alone on loan. Anelka being sold, Drogba and Kalou off to the African cup. Just leave Lukaku as their only striker??

I've just seen the footage of his breaking his leg. Ouch!
His leg buckles and you can see it bending outwards.

Very sorry to hear of Villa's misfortune ....
As for Torres, don't want him back at LFC and certainly can't see him in Barca, though him moving out of Chelski and a new striker or two being signed, is not a half bad bet imho.
Back to Villa now, sorry for going off topic ....

Not a prayer of him going to Barca. His position is through the centre playing on the shoulder, which would mean having to move Messi back to the right - where he doesnt want to play according to the hacks, and has been a bone of contention to Villa as he has to play on the left to let Messi have the centre.
