If only we had nine more like him, not including Given in that.

Got caught out for the goal we conceded though didn't he, leaving his man pass him like that. Then when he caught up to his opponent again he looked like he was turning his back on the ball that was being crossed in!

Still a good player for Liverpool and Ireland though, hope his around for a while yet.

And there are some who believe he was responsible for the first goal, despite the abscence of the 'world class' John O'Sh1t when the cross came in, mind boggling.......................

he was not good on saturday but if the rest of squad had been as consistent as him all year, we might have had something to play for last saturday..

In fairness he needs to reproduce his club form for Ireland. Dont think he has been as consistant as he has been for us. Still far and away the best right back Ireland have though.

i think a lot of irish players need to reproduce their club form for Ireland. Not just Stevie. If we showed have the amount of passion that Scotland showed on saturday then we might start to make a comeback on the International Scene. I was very jealous watching Scotland walking out as they were the occasions that we used to have. e.g. Thinking of the Holland game in Landsdown
