Don't like wishing injuries on any player, but I'd be hoping he won't regain fitness until after our game with Newcastle next week.
This subject has been touched on many times before sadly i think his best days are gone and is now too injury prone, would never wish anything bad on the fella and i remember all he done for us but i think he will never be a shadow of the player he was a few years ago before all the injurys he ha slost his frightening burst of pace !
sadly I think he will probably never play more than 20 games a season. A bit like Wilkenson in the rugby I suppose. His class will show through in fits and spurts. For a long time with god injured Carra and Gerrard learning the ropes he was the one that we replied on so often... terrible the way some people talk about MO these days. Short term memory I suppose
Because some people have short memories. I still remember the cup final where we were played off the park by Arsenal and getting abused by my Arsenal fan mates for 80 mins. They left the pub V quietly when the medals were being handed out that day because of Michael. I would never be against someone who always tried his best for us.
Micky won us many a match, wouldnt wish another injury on him not after his last year and a half. Now if you said ronaldo or some other scum chester player then i would share your LOL, but one of our own -- cop yourself on
Who has been injuried more over the last 2 1/2 seasons Owen or Kewell. Owen is past it now, he is injury prone, his pace is gone which helped with his lack of height now he is just a run of the mill forward, nothing special anymore.
Injury prone yes, Past it? I dont think so, i would rather have a "run of the mill " MO getting me double figures in his 20 games a season rather than ur " worked like a horse" striker. Still it would fit in nicely with the rotation system!
