Yesterday I have good few quid in Advertise as did a lot of the pub in the Salisbury 17:15. Watch the closing stages of race. You would have to blame the jockey 100% here what was she doing, 1 wip would of win the race it seemed like she was holding back and wanted to lose. My Granny would of win that race. Thought would vent my disappointment of cheating so the bookies don't take a hammering thats all I can see. http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video/Racing/0,27770,368278_4,00.html
That's what it looked like yesterday and viewing it again it seems even more. Think there is an enquiry but thats not going get me my money
well keep an eye on that horse racing again in a few weeks, loads of jockeys and trainers hold back horses coming up to bigger races What was the name of the horse?
Just had a look at that video now.... looks really dodgy. No whip control, and the rider even looked at the other horse to seemingly make sure it won by a nose.... Highly suspicious...
i will have a look at the video when i get home this evening, but some times certain horses don't respond to pressure from the jockey. So the horse probably would have went backwards if he was whipped. But will have a look this evening when get home.
Holy ****, I have never seen anything more obivous before in my life. The horse didnt even need to be whipped, It just needed to be pushed out probely at the end and it would hav won by 2 to 3 lengths. Was it the horses first time running?
No, the horse has ran a good few times already. I would defo be fuming myself if i lost money on that myself, after just seeing it.... However, it is a Class 6 lady riders handicap and by the looks of things it is Miss L Proberts first ever ride in the saddle, judging by her 7 pound claim aswell. I'd say she thought the race was in the bag. Just a bad ride, nothing to do with a scam.
I have had a few of these rides before that have lost me serious money, Its so annoying. It did look like she had crossing the line anyway.
Probert insisted it was not a case of over confidence."I wasn't trying to be clever, I was exhausted," she said. http://www.racingpost.com/news/hors...-probert-suspended-for-28-days/711225/latest/
Get out of that, surely the adrenaline of your first win would get you across the line. Like when you were a kid- you could run fast but when the guards were runner after ya you could run twice as fast
20 quid at 4/1 would of made it sweet night but was up in profit anyway on Sunday with the football but still 100 quid if anyone but her was on the horse. She has no future in being a jockey then if being exhausted after that.
i had this is a double, even doh the second horse was unseated i was still furious in the bookies along with several other lads we couldnt beleave it we were sure she must of had it,what a joke!!!!!!
there was a reason why she was exhausted going into that race... i saw laura in the jockeys room just before it
