Anyone on here work there or know anyone that does ? My mate is going on holiday next week, applied for passport about 3 mths ago and can't get through on the number at all to find out when it will be processed .... it just constantly says "due to high congestion ..." If anyone can help with a direct line for someone I'd apperiate it (PM me) Thanks !!
As far as Im aware the waiting time now is only about 6weeks. Have a mate who works there. Im working right beside it in balbriggan. He usually plays football with me on monday nights so can ask him tonght. If all else fails he shud be able to get a emerancy passport.
Yeah I mean it doesn't seem right that they should still be waiting after that long. Cheers man, I'd appreciate that !
I need to get my password soon then if thats the case I thought it was 4 weeks. Going holidays on July. betetr get photos done tomorrow
Send for an new one there early march and only got it back last week, if he's from the dublin area surely he can call in and get a update on his passport?
They say on the passport tracker on the website that that my passport is currently being checked. Anyone know what the waiting time is between the "Your passport is being checked" stage and the time you can actually collect your passport? I sent it off 5 weeks ago and I need to go away on Thursday. I'm a little worried at this stage and it is impossible to get through on the phone.
Go to the passport office tomorrow with your flight details and they'll do you 1 up i'm led to believe there doing this, make sure you have proof of travel
I done that and I was sent away, and told I might have a chance in cork,. Your best bet is to go to the office and ask them what's happening and bin travel details, but in my experiences they are the worst shower going,.
Fcukers they are for doing that on you, there was a rep from there office on Newstalk a few weeks back saying anybody that had immediate need for a passport would be facilitated
I know, but I ended up getting a right auld piss up out of it down in Cork,. And the holiday was great, well worth all the effort anyway,. The strange thing was, they got a courier to bring the passport to Dublin from Cork, print it in Balbriggin, and then bring it back down to Cork, when the courier arrived he only had the one passport, which was my one, and the fee was only the standard 85euro as well,. Surely it cost them more money to make that passport than they charged me,. The system is just a mess,.
Not with online check in or something like that. For Online checkin it has to be passport. Considering everything is online check in now, not sure how you would check in at the airport with a licence.
Are driving licences accepted as a travel document on Ryanair flights? Ryanair also does NOT accept on any flight - driving licences, residence cards, family books, seaman books, military ID cards etc. Expired or damaged forms of photo-id will not be accepted on any flight.
