Seen him play in a pre-season friendly for Charlton against Bray during the summer and I know its hard to judge on a friendly but he didn't really stand out or anything.
suprised we won the race for him, and he turned down chelsea and Arsenal..We dont have a good name for bringing young players through.. He is also at a funny age of 18, where ,is he going to give up first team football with charlton to play in our reserves or is he indeed good enough to play first team football.. Never heard off this guy and ive never seen him mentioned with any other club either...
Wasnt at the game. Was he any good?? did he stand out??.Just done a quick bit of reading on him there..He's a midfielder..So is he going to get his chance for us??? He has played alot this season, so the boy needs to keep playing to progress..
He is a winger of sorts, he did stand out. According to Wikipedia, he had his medical yesterday on Merseyside.
As long as he is not central midfield he might have a chance of getting in the side..Think he needs to keep playing though..Hopfully if he does sign, he gets a chance, as i think we need more guys at the club who realise what Liverpool Football Club stand for, and are not just there to make a quick buck..
He is a real talent who gets goals from midfield. we have too often in the past passed up opportunities to snap up good British talent and opted for the foreign option instead. This clearly hasn't paid off as I don't remember too many breaking through? He has played over 40 games in a very competitve 1st division and would be a great addition to the squad.
whats not to like about him. young goal scoring midfielder. (Gerrard esque...i'll believe it when i see it) it's encouraging that we are getting kids now, it probably relates to youngsters feeling they have no chance at utd, city or chelsea any more
