Last decent festival until the good horses come back in the winter.... Think I posted this somewhere in this forum but I have two reserved enclosure tickets for Punchestown on the Thursday, world hurdle and novice chase day, dunno if will be able to get off work for it so may have them spare, 40quid each face value but would sell the pair for 50quid if anyone here is interested. Any tips for the week? Usually someone (I'm looking at you tommy mullins and the likes) have a few kept for this instead of travelling over to the uk, and an upset or two always likely to occur.
just looked at tomorrow's race card there, it looks a death trap for punters - be careful and don't get too carried away lads. The only one that stood out for me is 'general miller'. Won at aintree recently, and i am sure nicky henderson wouldn't send him over here unless he was right.
Think he means ticket sales are well down on previous years. I was looking at the festival website and all hospitality packages are sold out at near 200 a pop, so not doing too bad.
Well he's from Kildare so prob means free tickets. There is usually piles of ticets going around the town but thy seemed to have dried up this year.
surely if Zaarito stays up, he wins. fallen 5 times in his last 9 starts. but the class horse of the race
My taughts exactly Clayton & i've backed him in them all so this is where my money is going again gonna do the double with Forpaddytheplasterer I think he'll win this evening aswell.
6.40 Midnight Club is where my cash is going today. A mate lives in Kildare and was talking to someone in the know this morning.
There is really good word around for Rebeca Curtis's Scoter Fontaine in the 5.30 Punchestown. Best price now 7/2. Doc O'Connor jocked up. That's a tip in itself.
thats a hard double to get up.. you should double zaarito up with jonjo o'neills horse in the 6.55 @ Towcester... he'll win
if Denman repeats his run from Cheltenham today, all other horses are playing for second place. Simple as that
