3 points at this stage are a must! Monday night games don't seem to be our favourites!

Would love to see rafa put out an attacking team but i just wonder if he'll have one eye on thursday night....

We're at home to a poor WH side who dont know how to play away from home.

Im going for a 2-0 win to the Reds.

3-1 :) Have a feeling Torres be rested for Thursday night if so 1-0 ..

tests by the Liverpool medical staff at Melwood have proven inconclusive and Torres is due to fly back to see Dr Cugat in Barcelona yesterday provided Britain’s airspace, closed because of the volcanic ash from the eruption in Iceland, had reopened.

Looks like Thursday could be a doubt as well ..

Without Torres we have failed to hit the target and get goals. He is the difference in a tight game and unfortunately too often this season we haven't had that difference. Ngog just doesn't have the composure, guille and finishing prowess at this stage to win us these games. So just what is the answer here? I think we have no option but to play Kuyt up front with Babel, Gerrard and Maxi in behind. We cannot afford any more slip ups and simply need goals and a win.

I say they will go attacking(nothing to lose) and if they do I can see 4-0 to the red men. West ham are very very poor these days.

Would like to go 2 up top in this match, probably means Aquilani won't start if we go with Masch and Gerrard in CM. Gerrard only works well playing off Torres not Ngog or Kuyt!
I also think Ngog would be much better when playing alongside someone up front.

Maxi will be wide right for this game anyway!

Every match is important now, we still can finish fourth (long shot) but we have to win this, and that will give us confidence going into Thursdays game.

As long as teams can travel one way or the other, the games will go ahead imo.

Yes it is possible but with Liverpool playing on Monday night. It would mean something like this.

Leave Liverpool Tuesday morning for London.

Travel from London to Paris by Eurostar, leaving London St Pancras at 14:04 and arriving in Paris Gare du Nord at 17:26

Travel overnight from Paris to Madrid on the Elipsos trainhotel 'Francisco de Goya' leaving Paris Gare d'Austerlitz daily at 19:47 and arriving next morning in Burgos at Madrid (Chamartin station) at 09:10 Wednesday morning.

Play match Thursday night and then get back home for a match 3pm Sunday.

Not impossible but it would put Liverpool at a very unfair disavantage.
