Hi

- Click into User CP at the top left of the screen.

- Then select Edit Avatar from the Control Panel (left hand side of screen)

- Either:

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
or
Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

- Save Changes

Won't allow me to upload or get one from a url don't have those options

Hummm,

Can you even see the options (ie are they there but not ones you can select, or just not there)

Try logging out, then back in ...

If this does not work, PM me with a link to the avatar you want & lets see if we can sort it out :)

I'm in the same boat, I just get these options in Edit Avatar...

Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.

Hi

Sorry everyone, it appears we're still having a couple of, eh, "technical problems" ....

Anyone having problems uploading, might try sending me a PM with the link to the image they want to upload & I'll do what I can to help out :)

Thats working fine man, any chance with the signatures to add a image in there permission is not allowed at d mo??

LOL,your a ball breaker :).I just have to set what size image I will allow the signatures to be and then we will be ready to rock and roll.

I grew up in CJH Constituency while he was at the hight of his powers in the 80s,I could tell you some story's about him.In saying that if anybody wants to give me a private Island for running this website I am sure we could come to some kind of 'agreement' ;).

That's cool. Most of the forums I'm on don't allow images in sigs.

To apply...

same situation here, +30 posts, have re logged in, no change in the avatar situation.. seems like an admin setting to be honest that there isnt an option to auto activate after 30 posts, but i could be very wrong.
