Not too bad....Crucial games are definitely the back to back games against the Slovaks and Russia twice. Come away with 7 or 8 points from those 4 games great chance in qualifying...
Fridays and tuesdays.. it will be good for the players to get abit more rest alright. We have a good start and end to them, first 2games should be 6points and last 2 should be 6 points.
Happy with that - esp the last two games, Andorra away and Armenia at home Couldnt ask for nicer run in
Ah right, i'm not up on my Macedonian weather! I thought he meant because its after the footie season is over and all the lads are chilled out!
Lyanair €209 to bratislava(well their version) in october at the moment, monday-wednesday, might have some of that.
Two tough games together in sept though with Sloviaka first and then russia a few days later... First fixture in the new avia stadium is against andora...Wonder will it be a sell out.. The run in,is decent...Its up to us now..
FAI seek answers over venue switch The Football Association of Ireland are hoping to resolve a dispute with their Slovakian counterparts over the venue for October’s European Championship qualifier. The Slovakian federation (SFZ) informed the FAI and UEFA, both formally and in writing, that the Group B match on October 12 with the Republic of Ireland would take place in Bratislava. That resulted in an FAI delegation recently visiting the city to do a routine check and compile a dossier on the stadium, its facilities and the hotels in the area. However, the SFZ yesterday informed the FAI they had changed their mind and the game would now take place in Zilina, 125 miles and two hours away from Bratislava. Given many Ireland fans have already made travel arrangements to Bratislava, the FAI has been forced to write to the SFZ and UEFA asking them to retain their original choice of venue. Only in Ireland would they openly let opposition fans in the home end in their colours, and then have about 40 stewards and 10 rows of seats to segregate the fans. The mind boggles really.
