Former chairman of Anglo Irish Bank Seán FitzPatrick has been arrested by gardaÃ* investigating alleged financial irregularities at the bank.
In a statement this morning, the Garda Press Office said a man in his early 60s was detained this morning following a search of a premises by officers from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation as part of the ongoing investigation "into alleged financial irregularities at a financial institution".

If just 1 of them does some proper time in a proper prison I'd be happy enough with that. Even that wont happen though.

I'd be amazed if they even charge him ....
I suspect this is done as much for the presses benefit, as anything else ....
If this guy or others thought they were going to jail, how come none of them have fled the country months ago .... not like they've not had plenty of time to make arrangements, get their legal advice etc.

As well as getting rid of any documents that may incrimnate him.
Should never have taking so long to arrest him gave him ample time to do all the above, another publicity stunt and if that cnut gets away with this, will just prove how our goverment and these cnuts actually have been in each others pocket through the years!!! Although we all know they are best buddies!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
